Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Joint General Secretary of Awami League. Hasan Mahmud said that those who look on and see the carnage in Palestine, have lost their moral right to speak about human rights.

The Minister said this to the journalists after meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador Yosef Ramadan in his office at the Secretariat on Monday afternoon. Hasan Mahmoud said, 'In the 21st century, the way women and children are being killed in Gaza, crimes against humanity are being organized and those who have sided with the Israeli invaders instead of standing up for the Palestinians, I think they have lost the moral right to talk about human rights. Hopefully, this cry of the Palestinians will reach the ears of all, including the United States, Europe, immediately there will be a complete cease-fire and peace will be established in Palestine.

Pointing out that 'our government, our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was, is, will continue to be in favor of the Palestinians', the Information Minister said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spoke for the Palestinians in the United Nations General Assembly, as the leader of the National Parliament in Bangladesh, in favor of the Palestinians and organized a special discussion to protest the killings in Gaza.

In the context of the meeting, the Minister of Broadcasting said, I have reiterated to the ambassador our government's commitment to stand by Palestine and our stand against the indiscriminate killings of the Israeli forces. We believe that this problem can only be solved through the establishment of an independent sovereign Palestinian state.

Hasan Mahmud also said that the ambassador of Palestine thanked our Prime Minister and the government for their unwavering support to the Palestinians. At the same time, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina praised the way she stood for the Palestinians even from 4,000 kilometers away. He showed me videos of how Palestinian doctors studying medicine in Bangladesh are serving in Gaza. He explained in detail the help and cooperation that we have sent on our behalf.

At the end of the meeting, Palestinian Ambassador Youssef Ramadan, while talking to the journalists, requested that the news and words presented by the Western media about the Palestinian war should not be exactly copied and served in the media of this country.
